How to Set Up a Patient Portal Account

You can begin registration by visiting the Patient Portal and creating an account. Once you have an account, you will need an invitation code (as seen in Step 5 below) to access your health record and those of your family members. Contact Artesia General Hospital to request a registration invitation for the Patient Portal.

Please note: our Patient Portal relates to services provided at Artesia General Hospital only and will not include health information from any other healthcare facilities that you may have used for health services.

1. Welcome
When you visit the Patient Portal the Welcome page is displayed. In the New User section, click Sign Up.

2. Create Account
The Create Account screen is displayed. Please complete the required information to start the registration process. You will be asked to create a password following the set criteria. Once complete, enter the characters you see in the CAPTCHA field.

3. Terms and Conditions
Click the link to read the Terms and Conditions of the Patient Portal. Check the I agree to the Terms and Conditions box and click Create Account.

4. Complete Setup
To complete your account setup, verify your record access and click Allow.

5. Contact Artesia General Hospital
Now your Patient Dashboard is displayed. To obtain access to your health record, contact Artesia General Hospital and request a registration invitation for the Patient Portal.

6. Registration Invitation
Once you receive the registration invitation, click the link in the email or enter the URL into your browser window.The Patient Portal page is launched. Click Continue.

7. Sign In
The Account screen is displayed. Enter your Email and Password and click Sign In.

8. Confirm Identity
To confirm your identity, enter your date of birth and click Submit.

9. Transfer Information
The Information Transfer page is displayed. To complete the information transfer, click Allow.

10. Access Approved
The Access Approved screen is displayed. Click Home.

11. Success!
As the Patient Dashboard is displayed, a Your Data is Loading message is displayed. Once the message disappears, refresh your browser and your health record will be displayed.

Once logged into your Patient Dashboard, you will be able to view messages and medical records, pay bills, change settings and use the help center.

You can login to your Patient Portal Account at any time.

What is the Patient Portal?
Artesia General Hospital’s Patient Portal is an online health electronic document management tool that includes a view of clinical data from your Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Our Patient Portal allows you to:

The Artesia General Hospital Patient Portal and Artesia General Hospital Health Records are currently only available if you have been a patient since May 1, 2015.

How do I set up an account?
You can create a Patient Portal account on your own, but you will need to request a registration invitation from Artesia General Hospital to complete the process. The email will be sent to the email address you shared with us during the hospital registration process. Follow the instructions to create your account.

How do I access my Patient Portal account?
After completing the set-up process, you can access your Patient Portal Account at any time.

Do I need special equipment?
You will need a computer with internet access and access to the email account that you provided during hospital registration.

Can my family and friends access my information on the portal?
Yes, but only after you have given them permission. As a patient of Artesia General Hospital, you can choose to give an authorized representative access to specific hospital visits. You will be asked for this information during the admission process.

Will I receive emails after each admission to the hospital?
No. After each admission to the hospital, a new Summary of Care document will post to your patient portal. You may access the document any time after you are discharged. Once the initial email has been sent, the patient or authorized representative of the patient will not be sent new emails with each new visit unless a portal reset is necessary.
