Biography: Dr. Michael C. Speck

Dr. Michael C. Speck is a Board-Certified Urologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of urologic conditions for both men and women. He joins the medical team at Artesia General Hospital with a distinguished background in general urology, bringing specialized expertise in treatment of kidney stones, enlarged prostate, general disorders of genitourinary tract, and performing vasectomies to the region. Dr. Speck is dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate care, ensuring his patients receive up to date quality treatment.

Dr. Speck completed his Urologic Surgery Residency and General Surgery Internship at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, where he received multiple scholarships and honors. Prior to medical school, he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Texas Tech University.

Practicing at Artesia General Hospital, Dr. Speck serves patients in Artesia, Carlsbad, and the surrounding Southeastern New Mexico communities.
