“As many of you know, I have had the privilege of working at Artesia General Hospital since 2012! Over the years, my career has flourished, and I have embraced various roles—from being a CNA in senior care to an LPN at the clinic, and spending many rewarding years as an ER nurse. For the past two years, I have served as a walk-in provider, and I am thrilled to announce that I will soon be providing wound care services as well!”

    Advanced Healing with Hyperbaric Medicine

As part of our comprehensive wound care services, Artesia General Hospital also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This treatment uses a pressurized chamber to help your blood carry more oxygen to damaged tissue. The added oxygen supports faster healing and reduces the risk of infection. Hyperbaric medicine is especially helpful for chronic wounds, diabetic ulcers, radiation injuries, and non-healing surgical sites. If traditional wound care isn’t enough, hyperbaric therapy may be the next step in your recovery plan.
