Nurses Recognized for Exceptional Care
Nurses Morgan Herrera and Robin Rhodes were recently recognized with a bouquet of flowers for their incredible compassion and dedication in caring for a critically ill patient on the Med/Surg unit. Nurses also recognize the importance of compassion as part of their daily duties.
According to Director of Nursing Sandra Kennedy, BSN, RN, both nurses provided comfort, assisted with every need without being asked, and took the time to have meaningful conversations with the patient’s family. Even while managing other responsibilities, nurses recognize the necessity of prioritizing. Furthermore, they focus on updating the family and ensuring they felt supported during a difficult time.
The family had nothing but words of praise when it comes to AGH nursing staff. Especially Morgan and Robin, for how nurses recognize important patient needs and perform their duties.
Thank you, Morgan and Robin, for embodying the heart of patient-centered care and what nurses recognize we stand for here at Artesia General Hospital.
