New Mexico Hematology and Oncology Specialists have prepared a Guide for Preventing COVID-19 in order to provide support and guidance through the COVID-19 pandemic as it affects cancer treatment patients, and the wider community.
Precision Cancer Care Close to Home
The cancer care team at the New Mexico Hematology and Oncology Specialists (NMHOS), a division of Artesia Healthcare Professionals, includes medical oncologists, surgeons, interventional radiologists, pathologists and nurse practitioners—all determined to bring leading, precision cancer care to New Mexico. The health of our patients is our top priority, and we want to be compassionate partners and advocates through every moment of the journey.
We believe that no one should have to choose between precision cancer care and care close to home—and now, you don’t have to. With offices in both Artesia and Carlsbad, our multidisciplinary approach combines the latest research, technology, medical knowledge and a full range of support services to address mind, body and spirit.
The team’s work is guided by Medical Director, Ajaz Bulbul, MBBS, MD. Dr. Bulbul is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology and attended medical school at the University of Southern California. He has provided cancer care in our region since 2012 with a vision of closing the gap in cancer care by addressing the particular challenges of rural healthcare delivery.
